At Fenestras24, operated by Fenestration, LLC, we strive to ensure that your custom building envelope systems and accessories are delivered safely, securely, and efficiently. Below you will find comprehensive shipping and lead time information tailored for our United States clients.

1. General

  • All orders are engineered and custom-packaged utilizing heavy-duty ocean freight crating to prevent structural damage during long-distance transit.

  • After transfer to the international carrier or domestic freight provider, the risk and ownership of the products transfer directly to the client under standard commercial shipping terms.

  • All stated delivery times are careful estimates. Potential delays due to global shipping lanes, domestic port congestion, U.S. Customs (CBP) clearance, or severe weather conditions are factors beyond our control.

2. Standard and Stock Products (Accessories & Parts)

These are standard components, including Hörmann remote controls, transmitters, wall buttons, and hardware accessories that are actively held in stock:

  • Small parcel deliveries are managed via trusted domestic carriers (such as UPS, FedEx, or DHL US) and include full end-to-end Track & Trace.

3. Custom-Made Architectural Systems

These include millimeter-precise custom products manufactured at our production facilities, such as uPVC/aluminum windows, entry doors, residential garage doors, commercial overhead doors, Zipscreens, and bioclimatic pergolas:

  • Total Estimated Delivery Time: Depending on the complexity and volume of your architectural blueprint, the standard timeline is usually 7–9 weeks. This comprises 4–6 weeks for precision European fabrication and an additional 2–3 weeks for trans-Atlantis ocean freight transit and domestic line-haul transport.

  • All architectural systems are securely containerized, palletized, and handled exclusively by specialized heavy-freight maritime and domestic carriers.

  • For oversized cargo or heavy industrial sectional door components, our domestic logistics desk will coordinate directly with your project manager or site foreman to schedule a dedicated delivery appointment and verify local offloading requirements (e.g., forklift or crane access).

4. Import Customs & Liability Information

  • For standard wholesale and commercial contracts handled under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) agreements by Fenestration, LLC, all U.S. customs entry filings, federal bond liabilities, and port clearance clearances are fully managed by our corporate customs broker.

  • Fenestration, LLC works with premier international freight forwarders to minimize delays, but remains legally exempt from financial liabilities regarding unexpected administrative border holds or terminal delays imposed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
